Campus Master Plan and Facility Condition Assessment
Project Summary
To allow Lake Land College to prioritize future facilities improvements, Bailey Edward created a comprehensive master plan and facilities assessment to serve as a fiscal road map for the next 10 years. With two teams dedicated to the facility condition assessment and the master plan respectively, we were able to divide and conquer the documentation and engagement process for expedient report creation. Our Facility Conditions Assessment team conducted visual surveys and documentation of two dozen buildings with a total square footage exceeding half a million. We then incorporated all information gathered into our database software and weighted it to prioritize decisions for future work. Concurrently, the Master Plan team held engagement meetings with seven separate departments, students, faculty, staff, and administration. Together, our team combined the needs and future desires to create a report outlining categorized maintenance work and new projects based on cost and timeframe.
