Health Science Center Cadaver Laboratory

Through architectural and engineering upgrades, we expanded and upgraded the College of Dupage’s existing Cadaver lab to expand the school’s anatomy course offerings. The laboratory was transformed inside and out. New interior finishes including flooring, cabinets, ceiling tiles, surgical lights, signs, and wall finishes give students an immersive, real-world experience while teaching windows and an AV camera system installed at each table give educators the tools necessary to direct the budding professionals. Behind the scenes, ventilation renovation efforts including HVAC design and specifications of tighter HVAC controls for room temperature and air changes ensure the space can handle the growing curriculum.
