Freestar Bank
Project Summary
Freestar Bank’s mission is to provide knowledgeable, reliable financial services in a comfortable, casual atmosphere. Important to the image and reputation of Freestar Bank is the design goal posed to Bailey Edward that each of their branch locations portray a sense of stability and steadfastness.
Branch amenities include teller service counters, offices and support spaces, a large central lobby, a conference room, and three lanes of drive-up service stations located under a canopy. The entry tower element was chosen for its recognized qualities of providing strategic positioning and far-reaching observation for the security of those under its protection. The use of brick on the exterior further reinforces Freestar’s brand identity echoing characteristics such as strength and durability.
The design for Freestar Bank won the Association of Licensed Architect’s Silver Award.
